    Well, now it seems that broadcasting giant NBC is jumping on the gaming bandwagon. Details are scarce concerning the content of the show, but it seems that it will revolve around gaming culture and the developers who make it all possible. TJ Allard, who previously worked as a designer at Ubisoft, will apparently be heading the project, accompanied by Audrey Cleo of Sony’s Qore. With the working title Game On, you can expect this new show to hit primetime NBC as early as next month.

    Now, as much as I’m intrigued by this news, as a gamer, I don’t hold much hope for this program. Like many other people have stated, G4 is a station dedicated to gaming and, frankly, they don’t even do a very good job in their attempt to be “hip.” While I want to believe that maybe this show can break away from the pack and appeal to the hardcore crowd as well as the casual crowd, I have my reservations. I guess we’ll just have to wait to see when the show premieres.

    How do you feel about gaming shows on television? Do you think that they do the medium justice, and successfully appeal to hardcore gamers?
